1989Founding of the company
The founding of family-owned M&M, Ltd, Črnomelj company in Črnomelj. The company’s main activity was the distribution of bearings for industrial maintenance.
1998Opening of a new business unit in Ljubljana
After 10 years of successful work, company moved its premises to a new location in Ljubljana. The company’s name was also changed to M&M Intercom, Ltd, Ljubljana in order to emphasize its international orientation.
1999Opening of a new business unit in Maribor
M&M Intercom decided to open a unit in Maribor in order to speed up the delivery process to the production companies in the north–east of Slovenia.
2000Moving to new premises in Ljubljana
Further expansion of M&M Intercom created a need for larger capacities in Ljubljana and therefore the company decided to invest into bigger, company-owned business premises in the BTC Industrial zone on Letališka Street.
2006Acquiring the ISO 9001 certificate
In 2006 the company acquired the ISO 9001 quality standard certificate. Consequently, the company also improved internal company organization and streamlined business processes.
EPTDA membership
By becoming a member of the EPTDA association (European Power Transmission Distributors Association), M&M Intercom has improved its reputation and increased international competitiveness.
2010The construction of new business premises in the BTC Industrial zone – new headquarters
Increased demand for specialized products required further enlargement of our capacities and new additions to our product range. By widening the product range, the company has become a valuable partner of several domestic and foreign companies in recent years.
The establishment of a Linear Technology Centre
The same year company invested into linear technology, offering a wide range of linear components either standard or further processing and cutting components.
2014Updating company logo design (CGP)
By refreshing the M&M Intercom logo design the company has become visually more recognizable.
2015The launch of our new web page
As a part of visual refreshing, the company web page was also updated. It is designed in the UX way, which enables easy and efficient viewing and accessibility on all (mobile) devices any time and any place.
The opening of a new logistics center in Črnomelj
In order to fulfill the ever-growing market demands and the consequential dynamic growth of the company, we increased our capacities opening a logistics center in Črnomelj.
The establishment of the M&M belt cutting center
The purchase of Megadyne welding machine and cutting device enables the welding and cutting of belts to required dimensions.
The acquisition of the ISO 14001 environmental standard certificate
